Loyalty
Schemes Merge...
Air France and KLM
have merged their corporate loyalty schemes to form
BlueBiz by Air France and KLM. This joint force
will give customers even more opportunities to earn
free flights. If your company is already a member
of the airlines corporate schemes, you will soon
receive new BlueBiz account details and any VoyageurREWARDS
points (Air France) that you have, will be put into
this new account and converted to Blue Credits which
are valid for at least another 2 years.

Free
Nights in Dubai...
Once
again, Emirates has introduced their generous incentive
to First and Business class customers flying to
Dubai. From now until 30th September if flying in
either of these classes, you will be entitled to
complimentary room nights in a choice of 5-star
accommodation in Dubai. Business class travellers
will receive 2 nights free and First class 3 nights,
of course subject to availability. Contact your

Bags
Cost More This Summer...
Ryanair
has put the price up on baggage to be checked in
to £20 for flights in July and August. The
no-frills airline says this is to incentivise all
of its passengers to travel light during the peak
summer months and that 70 per cent of their travellers
would not be affected by these changes because they
travel with no checked-in bags. Either side of these
months' passengers will pay the normal £15
charge to check baggage in. The free 10kg hand luggage
will remain throughout.

On
Your Bike...
The recently opened Crowne
Plaza Copenhagen Towers, has introduced an incentive
for guests to earn a free meal in their restaurant
by getting fit? The hotel have installed electricity-producing
bicycles in their gym and if a guest can produce
10 watt hours of power, that is approximately an
hour on the bike at an average 30kmp, they will
get a free meal! If successful Crowne Plaza says
they will offer this incentive to all properties
in UK.

Update
on Paid Seating: changes have been made to paid
seat reservations. Passengers who have paid for
seating and subsequently change the date of their
flight, can reselect seats on the new flight at
no extra charge. Passengers can also change their
seat selection as well as being able to pay to upgrade
to an exit row seat at a later date. Passengers
upgrading to a higher class of travel who have paid
seating will also be able to pay the difference
to select a seat in the new cabin.
Hand
Baggage Update: US hand baggage restrictions
have now been removed. You can now carry two pieces
of hand baggage on all flights, in all cabins.
