From
16 November 2011, BA Miles is being renamed Avios, which
will be the 'currency' for all loyalty and reward programmes
owned by British Airways' parent company- International
Airlines Group.
Avios
points will be worth exactly the same amount as BA Miles.
Key
changes are detailed below:

How
membership works
The Executive Club is British Airways
frequent flyer programme. It is designed to recognise and
reward you - with the aim of making your travel even more
enjoyable.
Collect and spend BA (Avios) Miles
As a British Airways Executive Club
member, you have the chance to collect BA Miles, which you
can spend on reward flights or upgrades. The more BA Miles
you collect, the further they can take you.
You can collect BA (Avios) Miles by:
flying with BA
flying with one of BA's partner airlines
staying in selected hotels
renting cars
using a British Airways Credit Card or shopping with
many other partners.
You can also purchase additional BA Miles to top up your
balance.
Collect Tier Points
If you fly with us frequently, you
can collect Tier Points, which will progress you through
the membership tiers, offering you additional benefits at
each tier. Tier Points are collected based on the frequency,
travel class and distance of your journey.

You
can quickly and simply join the BA Executive Club

a member of your TMG travel team for further details and
