New
look business class
Oasis Hong Kong Airlines has upgraded its business
class across the fleet. The 'businessOasis' cabin
features new amenity kits, noise cancellation headsets,
heavier blankets and 'restaurant quality' catering.
The decor and seats remain the same but these little
changes amount to a lot for the budget airline. Oasis
fly direct to Hong Kong from Gatwick daily.

One
bag to go
Gatwick has announced it will lift the one bag rule
from 31 March.
Whilst other UK airports have already lifted the one
bag rule, Gatwick is one of the last to relax it.
Although Gatwick as an airport has announced this,
you will still need to double check with the airline
you are travelling with as some are still enforcing
it.

Baby
grows
BMI Baby will start three new routes from Manchester
from June. The three new routes are Lisbon, Madrid
and Barcelona. No other carriers serve the Lisbon
and Madrid route, so with twice-weekly flights to
Lisbon and four a week to Madrid, this will certainly
prove to be popular. Monarch already serve Barcelona
daily and BMI Baby will operate four times a week
from September which may spark a bit of a price war...

in September. This will make the airline the first
to serve the route from the Middle East and Gulf region.
This is the third US gateway for Emirates and will
open up a new market on the US west coast for travel
to and from the Gulf, Middle East and Indian subcontinent.
