In an attempt to increase security the US authorities, on
January 12th 2009, mandated that all travellers wishing
to visit the USA on the existing Visa Waiver program must
also complete on online authorisation form (ESTA).

do not use any other site or company
to submit your ESTA.

Who
is required to complete the ESTA process?
All passengers
travelling under the Visa Waiver program, this includes
non-ticketed infants. Basically, anyone without a Visa.
When
do I need to apply for a travel authorisation?
It
is mandatory for all passengers travelling to the United
States under the Visa Waiver Programme (VWP) to apply for
an Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA) at
least 72 hours prior to departure.
How
long is the travel authorisation valid?
Unless revoked, travel authorisations
are valid for two years from the date of authorisation,
or until your passport expires, whichever comes first.
Am
I able to go back and change submitted information?
You can update the following details:
email address, telephone number, airline and flight number,
City of boarding and address whilst in US.
What
happens if any of my Passport details change?
If there is a change to any
of your passport information (including passport renewals)
you will need to submit a new travel authorisation.
Is
there a fee for authorisation?
A $14 was introduced on 9th
September 2010.
